Bottling, Fermenting, and doing the Trail
Posted on September, 27th 2019
On Sept 11 we bottled the 2017 wines, labels are on order, and we expect to release them starting in mid-October, probably not all five at the same time. In the meantime we are working to secure an additional white wine for Sisters Rule, and are hoping to offer Chardonnay in addition to the Pinot Gris. And if that isn’t enough, it’s GRAPE SEASON! We are getting ready to press 800# of Merlot and 300# of Red Mountain Cabernet, expecting 1600# of Malbec very soon, followed by 1600# of Cabernet after that. The winery is getting ready to be very crowded!
What’s the Trail we keep talking about? It’s a 3.5 mile stretch that starts at Acorn Brewing on Meridian, stops at Moose Canyon Winery next door, Nightside Distillery down the street, then goes down Chrisella a few miles and turns left before the river, leading to Cockrell Cidery and Off Camber Brewing. Watch for the official launch October 18-19.
